Penrhyn
Castle is a Neo-Norman castle built in 1826 for Lord Penrhyn as his own
home.
Works carried
out as subcontractor :-
- Replacement
of code 7 and 8 sheet lead to many flat roofs around the castle using
traditional timber roll design for expansion and jointing.
- Replacement
of many gutters using code 7 and 8 lead which occur behind every parapet
wall around the castle. In all some 400mtrs have been installed of
the several phases
- Manufacture
and installation of code 7 sandcast lead rainwater pipes and rainwater
heads to match existing were able.
- A close
working relationship has been required to overcome many challanging
design situations
